About Registering with a US Embassy
The US State Department strongly encourages American citizens planning international travel to register with the US Embassy(s) in the countries they plan to visit. Who can register
All US citizens who will be traveling or residing abroad can register. It is a good idea to register each traveler before departing on any international trip.
How it works
Use IVS Order form & application form when submitting your paperwork for processing or e-mail the forms along with your passport copy (if applying separately, see below) and we will register your information with the local U. S. Embassy in the country(s) where you will be traveling. US Embassy Registration can be processed within 1-2 days or less (even for multiple destinations). We will send you confirmation of your registration via email, including the embassy/consulate contact information.
How to apply
Option 1: Add Trip Registration to your order. Simply check mark appropriate box on the IVS Order Form and fill out a Trip Registration Application and we'll take care of the rest.
Option 2: Apply separately if you do not need a visa for your destination. Send a copy of your US passport, fill out Trip Registration Application and IVS Order Form and e-mail to email@example.com.
