U.S. PASSPORT CARD RENEWAL FOR ADULTS

*Please include our service fee and return delivery payment or a completed air bill. Incomplete payment, incomplete applications or documents and wrong application form will cause a delay in processing the above visa application.

** The service fees are non-refundable, once we receive your documents and start processing them. Due to the high volume of applications being submitted, the processing times may be delayed by the Passport Agency. While such situations are beyond our control, we will do everything possible to accommodate your trip and will call you immediately to let you know about the status of your application.

Use this procedure if:

• You already have a passport card and it's expiring or expired in the last 5 years
  

• Your current passport card is undamaged
  

• Your current passport card was issued to you after your were 16 years of age
  

• Your name has not changed or  you can document your name change with a certified copy of name change document
  

• If you are applying for passport book & card renewal at the same time, please use different procedure for adults
  

Please note Int'l Visa Service is NOT a government agency. We are a private company that is authorized to process US Passport books and cards by the US Passport Agency. A service fee will be associated with each order in addition to the government and shipping fees. 

STEP 1.  Gather the following documents

• Original passport card
  
• Original US Passport Book (if you have it. If you never had a passport book issued, this does not apply to you)
  
• Two passport size photos 2"X 2"  (must be taken within last 2-3 months, cannot wear glasses)
  
• Application DS-82 (click here to download) ​Make sure to mark it for passport card only.
  
• IVS Order Form (click here to download)

Once we receive copies of all of your paperwork, our passport specialist will prepare final application forms for you and will e-mail them to you for review and signatures. Photos can be taken and e-mailed for digital processing. Please contact us for more details.

The passport card is a wallet-size travel document that can only be used to re-enter the United States at land border-crossings or ports-of-entry by sea from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.The card provides a smaller, more convenient, and less expensive alternative to the passport book for those who travel frequently to these destinations by land or sea.

The card has the same validity period as a passport book: 10 years for an adult, 5 years for children age 16 and younger.
The passport card cannot be used for international travel by air.
